Deepwatch Adds Two Senior Product Executives

DENVER, CO – December 15, 2020Deepwatch, a leading provider of intelligence-driven managed security services, today announced the appointment of Marissa “Reese” Wood, PMP, CISSP as vice president of product strategy and Parag Baxi as head of product engineering. 

Reporting to CTO Corey Bodzin, both will drive the continued innovation of new products and services, enabling Deepwatch to continue advancing its Cloud SecOps platform for its rapidly growing customer base. 

Marissa and Parag bring significant industry experience and knowledge to Deepwatch,” Bodzin said. “Their clear successes with product and solution development, as well as their expertise in identifying and prioritizing market opportunities, will further accelerate our growth.”

With more than 25 years of experience, Wood most recently served as vice president of product for the entire Firefox suite of products at Mozilla. She led the development and execution of products and enhancements that allowed Mozilla to far surpass revenue, user, and account goals on both mobile and desktop.  

Woods’ other previous positions include president at Ponikvar Consulting, interim vice president of IT at LogRhythm, managing partner at Tabernus – a Deloitte and Touche Colorado Technology Fast 50 company – and director at IQNavigator. She holds degrees in computer applications and psychology from Metropolitan State University of Denver as well as an MBA from Colorado State University.

Baxi brings 15 years of experience in product management, software engineering, and cybersecurity. He previously served as vice president of product at NopSec, a provider of vulnerability risk management solutions where he built the company’s product and customer success teams from scratch.

Throughout his career he’s worked with a wide variety of organizations, including The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Qualys, Tenable and Bugcrowd. Baxi graduated from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey with a degree in computer science and also holds a Certificate in Machine Learning from Stanford University.
